No-Fault Cancellations & Refunds
Any item(s) can be returned within 14 days of delivery. Item(s) must be in the original condition as when they were received. All refunds will be issued in the same form as the original payment. Shipping cost(s) for returns will only be reimbursed if the item was recieved defective or was damaged during the original shipment.

Defective Items

MEV PTL Restoration Bible Modern English Version.
Reading it is “Majestic and Beautiful,” and in my view, MEV is the best modern strain of the King James Version. The work was re-translated from the Masoretic Text and the Textus Receptus using the King James version as the base manuscript. The Textus Receptus (“Received Text”), are the traditional Greek manuscripts of the New Testament, from which the 1611 King James Version and 1982 New King James Version were translated. It retains (and even improves!) the beautiful wording found in the old King James Version. One of the translators’ goals was to make sure the beautiful English wording stayed in this new translation, even while making it much clearer for the modern English reader.
The PTL Giant Print version has the same type face size as the MEV Personal Size Large Print editions (12 point type) but has more space between the lines making it easier to read for older eyes hence is listed as “14pt” type. The Restoration Bible is not overlarge and measures closer to 9 .25 X 7.25 in (vs Personal edition 8 .75 x 5.5 inches), however is easily transportable for use in church and elsewhere.
“Restoration Bible” means it commemorates the return of the PTL Ministry and the seven frontispiece pages in the Bible narrate some of the ministry’s achievements and growth with photos and descriptions of the Bakker family and staff together with some buildings and scenes from their project activities.
My only gripe is no maps in the back of the Bible (hence 4 stars) , however there are four heavy blank endsheets in the back where an enterprising individual might copy some maps and paste/tape them in there.
FYI Prior to receiving this Bible, about two weeks later, I called to check on it, however could not get through the 6-7 times I rang; but eventually a nice lady picked up on the first ring catching me by surprise. She could not find my order (I bought it before creating an account) and she was going to contact a supervisor and told me to call back in another couple of weeks. I thanked, her set the phone down and went outside for a walk and there at the doorpost was the BIBLE! Apparently while I was on the call, a delivery person arrived and left it there!
Yes so if reading this PTL, i have gotten my delivery of this wonderful Bible, so no need to check on it anymore!
