Is there a way to tell when the filter needs replaced, without counting gallons used ?

    • mfriel38,

Currently there is no indicator other than having a rough estimate of how many gallons you have filtered.

      Thank you

What is the difference between extreme sports bottle and extreme survival bottle ? Do they both filter the same things

3 years 5 months ago

The main difference between the two bottles is the capacity. The Extreme Survival Bottle holds 28 oz. while the Extreme Sport Bottle holds 20 oz. The filtration of the bottles is the exact same.

Hi Lana,

With the bottle, you first unscrew the lid that has the filter attached to it. You then fill the bottle itself up about 75% then reattach the Lid with the filter that’s attached. As you use the straw to draw water, the water will be sucked through the filter before you consume it. We hope this answers your question, if not, feel free to reply. God Bless.

How does the water get purified if you’re just filling up the bottle with water? Doesn’t it have to flow through the filter?
