Matthew 9:37-38 Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest, that He will send out laborers into His harvest.” Lori and I are so excited about the amazing things happening at Morningside! Lori’s show Life with Lori is a blessing to so many and we are having the most inspiring guests and prophets on The Jim Bakker Show. We are so grateful and hope you will join us in prayer to give thanks to God for His many, MANY blessings! Right now we are hard at work on the Morningside Mountain Chapel and the road leading to this beautiful church that beckons our hearts to pray and worship. I have walked that mountain many times and felt the calling of revival surround me. We are getting ready for the Harvest. In every way possible we are preparing and it begins with this blessed Chapel. Lori and I are praying for you to get ready too.

Have you seen enough of what is happening in the world to know in your heart that these are perilous times? The second we accept Jesus Christ as our Savior we are also promising to look for His return. By our faith, we are to be the laborers of the Great Harvest to come! Jesus told us that before His return many difficult times will come. Over the last couple of years, with the devastating, life-changing events such as hurricanes and deadly fires, as well as the recent government shutdown, it was revealed to many families how ill-prepared they were for these times. There are many things you need in a time of crisis but having food is a must for your family AND for your community. What will you do for those who have nothing when disaster strikes your neighborhood? In the midst of despair, many do turn to God but others turn away. How do you feel hope when your belly is empty? How do you believe in the mercy of God when everything around you makes you feel helpless and certain that no one will come to your aid?

Years ago Lori worked in the ghettos of Phoenix. She learned quickly that she could not reach these broken hearts and tell them that God loves them when the pangs of hunger shouted over His Word. She began to feed them, to show kindness and patience and not just tell people about Jesus, but show them all about His love. Through the actions of her ministry, many were brought to the Lord. 1 John 3:18 My little children, let us love not in words and speech, but in action and truth. Lori and I want you to be prepared for the time when in an instant, our way of life could be changed drastically. In your church, in your community, and within your own family, God is calling upon you to be the laborers of Harvest. He is asking us to feed the hungry, to show others His love! We know it can be a difficult task but you are not alone. We are in this together! It’s time NOW to get ready!

Science Backs Biblical and Prophetic Predictions

Something very important is happening! The scientific community that opposed Christian thought and morals for so long has made a dramatic shift in the last few years and now overwhelmingly supports the end time prophecies.

According to most scientists, there is no longer any credible dispute for challenging what Christians have always known: that the world is headed for great turmoils and disasters before the Coming of Jesus.

Forces Behind Food and Water Insecurity

Political and Economic Instability. At the top of the list is political conflict, and you don’t need to look very far in this world to see it growing. Regional conflict has been rising dramatically since 2010, and this has caused a major disruption to food and water.

Plummeting Water Supplies. Water is essential to every life form. Unfortunately, some experts fear that by 2050, growing populations as well as industry, water pollution, and drought will increase the demand for water by 33 percent. In the meantime, we’re running out of water on a global scale. A recent study revealed that 25% of 500 of the world’s biggest cities are already reporting signs of “water stress.”

Job Loss Due to Technology. Job loss can happen at any time, quickly reducing income and the quality and quantity of the food available to you. Researchers estimate that, due to the impact of technology, nearly half of all current US jobs will disappear in the coming generation, putting a major strain on millions of families’ ability to access the food they need.

Pollution to Soil, Air and Water. Although most of us understand the health risks of environmental pollution, many may not realize the direct link between pollution and food production. The byproducts of industry have contaminated soil and water, reducing or decimating crop yields worldwide and killing, sickening, or eliminating entire animal species.

The Growing Threats of Pandemic and Disease. Because disease is increasing worldwide due to rising population, increasing population density, expanded travel, and more polluted water, experts predict that the number of pandemics will also increase, killing hundreds of millions of people and endangering critical resources like food and water.

Science and Prophecy Connect

There are more forces at work in the world that is causing a food and water crisis. Those listed above are only a few. In the coming issues of the Prophetic Messenger, we will be looking at these facts in detail and connect Christian prophecy with the Science of today.
